Heavy Horse Mesh Cooler Rug

The Mesh Cooler is a versatile rug, an excellent addition to every equine wardrobe. Ideal for travel, after exercise, and as a light stable rug. Matching leg wraps are available and listed separately.

The design is specifically for heavier types, so it is deeper down the sides and generously cut at the chest and shoulders.

The mesh side panels allow air to circulate, cooling the horse while the fleece top section wicks moisture away and helps regulate temperature to prevent chilling. These features combined ensure excellent airflow and breathability, particularly useful while travelling in hot weather.

Double adjustable surcingle straps with rubber washers help to stop them unfastening. A fillet string helps to keep the back end of the rug in place.

There is soft nylon lining at the chest to help prevent rubbing and friction, and a fur wither protector is fitted for extra comfort.

The chest features double adjustable straps with D rings and quick release clips. Once adjusted, fastening is quick and easy with just two clips to attach, fitting a wide range of builds.

The rug is machine washable and comes packed in a zipped bag with handles, ideal for storing when not in use.
