Lycra Hood With Zip
Made from 200g nylon quality four-way stretch lycra, this Lycra hood with zip is available with or without ears.
A chin to chest zip makes the hood easier to put on and off and the front leg strap which goes between the legs and fixes onto the girth fastening by way of a clip helps to keep the hood secure. This hood benefits from heat-sealed seams.
The hoods are ideal for helping to keep plaits flat and keep the horse clean before shows. They also protect against rubbing, making them a very useful addition to any equine wardrobe.
The hoods are hand or machine washable on a cool/warm cycle using non-biological products.
Designed for horses/ponies (not Shetlands or heavy horses) we would recommend the following as a guide:
- Small - rug size approx 5'0-5'6
- Medium - rug size approx 5'9-6'0
- Large - rug size approx 6'3-6'6
- X-Large - rug size approx 6'9-7'0
