The Shetland-miniature-donkey 50g stable rug with collar is a smart and versatile rug, suitable for Shetland ponies, miniature horses, donkeys, and small ponies such as Section A's. It can be used on its own in warmer months or as part of a layering system in colder weather.

The stable rug has a soft shiny lining to help prevent rubbing and keep the coat smooth. Generous shoulder gussets allow freer movement, helping to reduce the risk of rubbing and friction to the coat. Fleece collar detail in a contrast colour gives the rug a smart appearance.

Double adjustable surcingle straps with rubber washers help to prevent unfastening. A tail flap and fillet string are fitted, which can be useful for keeping clean or for those who tend to rub.

At the chest, there are double adjustable chest straps with D rings and quick release clips, making it quick and easy to put on and take off. This feature is particularly appreciated in colder weather. There is also Velcro at the chest for extra security.

The rug is machine washable and comes packed in a zipped bag with handles, ideal for storing when not in use.
